Candace joins to talk about her experience participating and completing the Dopey Challenge as part of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

Candace works as a strength and conditioning coach in Richmond, Va, and is a stable in the Richmond running scene as part of many training groups over the past few years. She enjoys helping folks reach their goals and whether working with athletes in the gym or on the roads she brings the same support and encouragement to bring out the best in whoever she is training.

In her own journey she talks about her love for the Walt Disney World Marathon and her desire to accomplish the Dopey Challenge, into what it took for her to make that dream a reality. She talks about the techniques she used to conquered the Dopey challenge , and in turn helps us learns ways we can go after big goals in our own self-care journeys. She also shows her lighter side as we really unpack the why behind her running and exploring her love for food, and other ways she relaxes.
