Kate Fletcher

Kate Fletcher is a teacher in Louisa Country, Virginia, and as she found her love for running and the way it made her feel as she cared for herself, she also noticed a way she could help others (namely many of her students as well). When she gathered along with other teachers Lion Pride Run was born and became an opportunity to use her passion to help others. She, along with those around her noticed how running made her feel, how it reinvigorated her, and she want to help encourage her students to do the same. Instead of encouraging them to run 105 miles, she invites them to consider the metaphorical miles that will help them be better prepared to accomplish their own dreams in life.
